Sindhu Gnanasambandan

Hi there! I make stories for Radiolab. Before this, I made series at The New York Times and Gimlet Media.
I spent much of my life leaping across worlds — from India, to Singapore, to the US; from an economics degree to a Zen Buddhist commune — which led me to be deeply curious about the vastly different ways to be a human.
Many of my stories are about the mind — how we experience time passing, what it means to see things in our head, where wandering thoughts come from, etc. I’ve currently been reporting on attention, human-ai relationships, attachment theory and the DSM.
If you have feedback, ideas, random musings, really anything, please send a note to 4sindhu@gmail.com.
